CIB New Joint Coordinator
In April 2018 the CIB Programme Committee appointed Dr.-Ing. Susana Restrepo Rico as Joint Coordinator of the CIB Commission W110 – Informal Settlements and Affordable Housing. Susana is a Urban Planner with emphasis on the analysis of urban programmes and planning processes in Latin America, as well as participatory practices in urban planning.
CIB New Joint Coordinator W099
In May 2018 the CIB Programme Committee appointed Prof. Billy Hare, from the Glasgow Caledonian University - School of Engineering & Built Environment, as Joint Coordinator of the CIB Commission W099– Safety and Health in Construction. Billy is a Professor of Construction Management within the School of Engineering & Built Environment at GCU.
New Coordinator W086 Building Pathology
In May 2018 the CIB Programme Committee appointed Prof Jorge M.C.L. de Brito as new Coordinator of the Working Commission W086 Building Pathology. Prof Jorge M.C.L. de Brito is full Professor at the Instituto Superior Tecnico (IST) since 2009.

New CIB Proceedings W119-TG93: International Conference on Smart, Sustainable and Sensuous Settlements Transformation (3SSettlements)
On 7th-8th of March the CIB Commission W119 and Task Group TG93 held the International Conference on Smart, Sustainable and Sensuous Settlements Transformation. The resulting proceedings include 38 double blind-refereed papers and 234 pages and are available for free on the website of CIB.
